I usually like to use things in a totally different way they're supposed to be used... so when I saw the Tabbed Index Cards: Hearts I thought of creating a funky wall hanging celebrating our 10 years together, and Valentine's Day is the perfect occasion!
I started to arrange my Tabbed Cards together so I know the size of my photos, then I painted the cards in different colors, going from bright red to sweet purple, and I outlined every card with a black marker.
I then customized the 2 see-through hearts:
On the first one I glued paper behind and I added glitter
On the second one I stuck a piece of transparent patterned paper and a Dymo word on it
I used the extra little hearts as chipboards, to write my title, and a little journaling on the photo. The title is made with the Diva Alphabet: Mini.
I really enjoyed myself with the embellishments, buttons, ribbons, little extra chipboards, rub-ons, flowers...everything that I found that matched the colors of this Valentine hanging.
At last, I glued the Tabbed Index Cards together and I stapled the big ribbon behind the cards.
