Monthly Theme: "When my mum was my age..." by Caroline Rondel

This is an interesting theme to think about! And celebrating your mother is something that should be done more often!
So I searched for old photographs of my mother and made a minibook about the parallel of our lives when we were in our twenties.

I started to paint the one Tabbed Index Card (heart) and the 6 Tabbed Mini Index Cards (hearts). I covered the Tabbed Index card with paper and also with strips of newspaper. Over this background I stamped the word LOVE with the wonderful Misprint UC Alphabet.
I glued my photos and punched the holes in the tabbed cards. After the holes were punched, I wrote the journaling.

I glued the first 2 small cards on the big card. Now I could bind the album. For the finishing touches I doodled on the hearts and I punched a few holes in the big heart to attach ribbons.
