Fantastic 3D chipboards were released and I was inspired to do some mixed media creation with these!
So I imagined my little Garden of Delights, there is a lady walking in the green alleys with a dress made of flowers, and oh flowers! everywhere you look you can see flowers! You can find here also elegant ladies playing golf and little girls running in the grass! You enter here through a huge and rusty steel portal, and as soon as you've stepped into the garden, strong smells of fruit and flowers are enchanting you! You are out of time in this garden!
OK so here's the technical part now! I used a cereal box that I cut out and covered with paper. I used very thin paper (not scrapbook paper) so it adheres very well on the edges and covers all the box.
Then I painted the inside and I stuck some magazine images inside. I attached a transparency (a portal) a few centimeters from the back, so it is not stuck but hangs in the box.
Then I made flowers with layers of punched circles.
I painted the 3D: Rock-A-Bye Birdie chipboard and I created "cherries" on it, as well as a little birdie.
I had a paperdoll that I made before that I could use to be the "Garden Lady". I stapled a piece of tulle fabric and some flowers, and I finshed by sticking all the elements in the box.
always so beautiful!!

This has to be one of the most creative and unique ideas I've seen in a long time. So adorable...and must have been soooo time consuming. Well worth it, though. :)
