I so loved this challenge for April and as soon as I read about it, I knew exactly what product I wanted to work with and what I was going to do. I love the feeling and look of hand sewing on a page so I chose to work with the ACR: Skip To My Loo - Small and use the shapes as a template for my sewing.
The process is quite simple, but be warned it is quite time consuming... The time factor does not worry me though because I believe the end result speaks for itself. To create the embroidered people I just put the layout together as normal and then I placed the man down and traced around him with pencil. I then pierced my holes and sewed around the shape. I then repeated the same process for the girl.
