Hi there! Today I want to share with you a really meaningful layout and a simple way to dress up the Buzz and Bloom chipboard alphabets. This layout is about a book I recently read called The Shack by William P. Young. It is a Christian Fiction book and really spoke volumes to me. I wanted to document the impact this book has had on me in a layout.
My journaling for this layout is hidden inside the envelope that is tucked behind the picture with the envelope flap hanging just over the edge of the picture. Envelopes are a great way to incorporate private journaling on a layout.
For the title I decided to keep things simple and just added Glossy Accents right on top of the natural color of the raw CB That 70s Alphabet chipboard alphabet. These half inch tall alphas are the perfect size for a small title or for a sentiment on a card, the cover of a mini book or smaller sized layouts. I wanted the picture to really be the focal point here.
The little bit of gloss that is added brings a little more attention to the title without being overwhelming or blending in as they would if I had painted them a coordinating color. So for a quick and easy dress up of any of the Buzz and Bloom chipboard, don't be afraid to let the raw color stand alone.
Thanks for letting me share!
