Recently I had the pleasure of playing host to the worldwide traveling Blythe - Luka.
Basically 50 homes, 50 new places.
The doll started her journey, and slowly worked her way around the world, stopping with a host for a week or so. As a host, you snap photos of your local scenery with her, and then she moves on to another. She has so far been here to Australia, Europe, and the USA, if only we could all be so lucky as to do a fun adventure!
One of the important parts of her journey are photos, and each participant is asked to scrap some pages for her scrapbooking album.
Yes, even dolls get their own scrapbook album! This album will be filled with her travel photos, and scrapbooked pages, for the future owner, once she has finished the journey to enjoy.
Pretty cool huh?
Anyhow, this page I'm sharing with you today, is one of 4 I'm contributing into the album.
For this page, Ive mostly used one of my NEW FAVORITE Buzz products -
the CB Cherry Blossoms!
Honestly, as soon as I saw their debut I fell in love, then when they arrived, they were even cuter IRL!
To add a bit of color to the pieces, I painted both the green and Pink parts with, nail polish!
You may think that's a bit unconventional in scrapbooking, But I have always used it here and there over the years. It adds a nice shiny gloss, and cute color.
And on the green stem part, I have slightly highlighted the green polish color, with some acrylic paint.
Some more CB Cherry Blossoms were added to the top, to even it out, once again painted with the Pink nail polish.
And the BUTTONS!! Do you see how cute these little guys are?
I'm button crazy, collect them, make them, sell them, drool over them, lol.
Yet another new product I'm so excited about - the CB Buttons! These little things are SO cute!
You get 16 on the sheet, and they come in all shapes and different sizes too.
To keep with the rest of the layout's somewhat simple theme, all I did was paint these little cuties, and outline them with the sharpie, the same way I did the title.
I have about a million ideas of ways to use these little guys, and will have to do a little tutorial on some fun ways to use them very soon for you guys here!
I do hope you like what I have shared, and remember to keep checking back, because there are always new posts shared by the other girls here, so if you need inspiration, this is where to look!
