Button, button, whose got the button? Sorry, I couldn't resist since Buzz and Bloom came out with their new chipboard buttons. You will never struggle to find the perfect size or color button for a layout again.
For this layout I wanted to document some things I love right now. For the title I used CB Vette Alphabet - Lowercase. I painted them with red acrylic paint and then topped them with a thick layer of Glossy Accents. These letters are about 1-1.25 inches tall so they make quite an impact on a layout.
Then it was time for the embellishing. I first die cut a flower shape from one of the denim sheets, DEN Patch Work Flora - Indigo. I topped that flower with another precut denim flower from DEN Blame It On The Sunshine - Blush. I then needed a center for my little denim flower, so I painted one of the smaller CB Buttons in a dusty blue acrylic paint and topped it with a layer of Glossy Accents before tying it down to the flower center with some embroidery floss. I finished off the flower by adding one of the smaller CB Retro Leaves that I painted with green acrylic paint and topped with...you guessed it! Glossy Accents.
I did the same for this larger sized button seen here. I just stitched this one down with needle and thread.
These buttons are so adorable as flower centers, on cards, scattered on a layout, used as the eyes for a little monster, or as a flower themselves. I can't wait to see what you create with them! Thanks for letting me share.
