Hi !
This month I have made something I have rarely done before: a canvas! But I think I will work on this more often! Actually this is made of 4 small canvases put together.

So first of all, I painted my 4 canvases with acrylic paint and decorated them. Each letter is stamped on a piece of phonebook paper. For the backgrounds, I used transparencies, fabric, all kinds of papers... I wanted to give it a "mixed media gypsy" style! I used the Arboretum Retro Vine chipboard that I simply covered with gesso.

Once all the canvases are decorated, it is very simple! I glued them together and I also stapled them together to be sure that it will not fall into pieces... you're never too careful !
I also stapled the ribbon to hang it safely.
