Buzz and Bloom

Hello again! Today I'm wanna share a layout about my childhood. It's not often that I do layouts about it.

Since Springtime is almost here I decided to use a picture where I was dressed like a butterfly in a Spring celebration in 1979.

The DEN Up The Garden Path Multi (Emerald) was perfect for my page, since I wanted it as one of my focal elements in the layout I opted for a plain background; I used one DEN Grand Flourish (Emerald) to add dimension on my design.

Also I used  one large piece of the Beaded Curtain Chipboard set and finally I was able to use glimmer mist (I know I'm sooo late) I really like the effect of the glimmer mist on the chipboard and it was super quick to apply and dry.

Finally for my title I covered chipboard with the same cardstock I used in the background, using the numbers of the Vette Alphabet - Countdown.

Hello! I'm so glad to be again in the B&B DT 2010! :)

My first project is super clean & simple (like me) hehe I love to work with symmetry and borders.

Let's take a look...

I used the Borderline - Heart Throb (Azure) at the top of my photos

Since I don't use corners in my pages I made a kind of banner/border with the Garden Corners (Magenta) I hand stitched it and decorated it with some buttons; I used one flower of the Blame It On The Sunshine Set (Blush) to made a cute accent. My title came together quickly with a few word stickers and the number 13 from the chipboard Babydoll Countdown set. I painted them, then added glitter for some sparkle.
