Hello, its my turn to do a little about me!

I thought I would share how I so am not a "Girly Girl" and I normally don't do a page about myself so it was a great chance to do one.

I have chosen to use the NEW CB Catwalk figures.  I glimmer misted the whole item then covered the skirt in dimensional magic then placed small buttons in the wet DM and left to dry.  Once dry I tied some fibers around the waist.  I also used the flower from the CB Buttons that I have glued mini beads to it then pressed a button in the center before it dried.

With the title I have used CB Vette Alphabet and CB Shelby Alphabet They have been inked and outlined in gel pen.

Color Combo - Cheese!! - by Kellie Lusted

Here is my take on the colour challenge.

I have used CB Shelby Alphabet and CB That 70s Alphabet for the title.

For my embellishment cluster I have used a FAB In Bloom (Chocolate) Also I used a FAB Garden Corners (Azure) and  CB Frill Corners as a corner embellishment.

 

Hope you all like the colour combo and give it a go... I know I will again :)

The George Mini Album - by Kellie Lusted

My turn to show a technique and I am going to use the CB Book Kit-Mini: The George with mostly inks but with a little dry brush paint.

      I have used black ink to coat all the inner pages of the mini and used some Smooch ink on the one side of the flower cut, just for added colour.  On the cover and back cover I have used red paint and dry brushed it roughly over the damask engraved side of the cover. 

 

I left it to dry, then, using a sponge dauber I inked over the red with black ink, very roughly and light in some areas and heavier in others.  Then using some gold ink (I have used Smooch) I used another dauber and rubbed it roughly over the front and back cover to give it an antique feel. 

Now the only thing left to do is to decorate the pages and cover.  I have used a mixture of older papers and flowers and mixed embellies. 

On the front cover I have used CB Shelby Alphabet Count Down and one of the new CB Butterflies inside a ACR Mirror Mirror On The Wall (Ruby) frame.

I found this a wonderful MiniBook to do as it is small but still big enough to hold the memories and tell the story.  So crack out the paints and inks and get into it!

Rock Star - By Kellie Lusted

On this layout I decided to grundge it up a little and add a touch of metallic color.

So I saw it fit to use the CB Pop Art Alphabet to go with the theme of things! I used just a silver marker to colour the CB Pop Art Alphas and outlined them in black marker.  I also used the CB Frill Corners as an emblishment.

I also did these buttons from the NEW realese CB Buttons for the layout... but when I went to put them on the page I found they didn't really go! So I will share them with you and you can keep an eye out for them on an upcoming layout!

I used microbeads and dimentional magic on the CB Buttons and coloured the centre with pink marker and tied some cotton through the middle. The flower shaped CB Buttons I coated in dimentional magic then droped beads ontop then added more DM and pushed a button in the centre.  I loved how they turned out and can't wait to show them off on a Buzz project with other Buzz goodies!

Pretty in Pink- By Kellie Lusted

Hi B&B Readers :)

For this layout I was able to use the NEW CB Butterflies.   When I got them I knew they needed to sparkle!  So I have painted them white and added Kindy Glitz over the top.

I added some pearls to the smaller CB Butterfly and also coated it in glitz.  Keeping in the theme I cut a patterned paper butterfly and edged it also in glitter.

 

To finish off the layout I used the CB Vette Alphabet Lower Case. I coloured them with Glimmer mist and outlined in white gel pen. 

The end result was a very feminine page of my 2 beautiful girls.

Buddies- By Kellie Lusted

Hello Buzz and Bloom followers!

It's time for another Buzz creation from me and this time I am thinking SUMMER.  I have used fresh colours and outdoors feel.

I have used the whole set of CB Hall of Frame with out the journal inserts.  I have used inks and watercolour markers to colour them. I also used Dimensional Magic to coat one frame to give a little shine.  I have used an ACR Shout Outs as a little journal block.

I have used a heart from the CB Room With A View  I have cut of the stand and inked it then put a heart sticker on it then coated it with Dimensional magic.  I also used a FAB On Cloud Nine (Magenta) as a corner date embellishment.

With the title I inked and then coated CB That 70s Alphabet with Kindy Glitz for a little summer sparkle!

Hi Guys!!

Keeping in with the month of LOVE I have decided to do a page of my darling Husband!  I have kept it very masculine using the Cord products, chipboard and very boy colours.

In the title I have used FAB Garden Notes Chocolate frame, CB Vette Alphas uppercase, CB That 70s Alphas and a heart out of CB Room with a View set.  I have kept the heart raw and wrapped twine around for something different.  The Alphas have been coated with Smooch inks and White paint.

 
I have used a Small flower from the FAB In Bloom (Chocolate) range and a cloud from FAB On cloud Nine (Air force) range as an embellishment cluster.

 

I decided to give masking a go on this page... I have never done it before but I liked how it turned out!  For the mask I have used a CB Long Corner Flourish as my mask just under the top corner of the patterned paper.

Hope you all had a FANTASTIC Valentines Day, and got spoilt with flowers and chocolates thoughout the WHOLE MONTH!!

Get Messy Frame! - by Kellie Lusted

Happy 2010!!

Here is my first project for the year and I have decided to keep it simple but fun!  As you may not know I LOVE to mess things up a little! and I am in love with spritzing, misting, dripping and the list can go on.... So with my project to share with you all I have chosen to use misting.  I have used a Writers Block the large size which is designed by Lusi Austin.  I have removed the center journal area and will be using just the frame. 

Step 1&2- Spritz the frame with glimmer mist (or similar product) as heavy or as light as you would like.  I have sprayed quite light because I am going to use 2 colours.

 
 

Step 3- Next I have removed some of the removable circles from the Block and using gel pens and inks coloured the remaining circles in to create a multi coloured spotty frame.

 

Step 4- Here is the finished Block , the border I have out lined with white gel pen.

Step 5- Now that the frame is dry and ready to use.  I have chosen some bright patterned paper to go with the frame and to tie in the misting on the frame I have given the card stock a light mist of red and then a little spotted spray with the black.  I created a title using 2 types of Buzz and Bloom Alphas, which are That 70s Alphabet and Analog Alphabet and have coloured them with ink pad and doodles using a white gel pen to bring some spots into the title too!  Here is a close up of the page.

And for the finished product......

I have drawn a border around the edge of the card stock to bring the page together.  So get to it! Crack out the spritzers, paints and pens and get MESSY!!!!
